The Talent And Style of American (And Italian) Men.

GQ Magazine posted their top 10 stylish men in America, and Justin Timberlake is number one. Meh. He is very stylish with his own designer company, but he doesn’t wow me. The other selection range from the well-known celebrities such as actor Jason Schwartzmann, rappers T.I. And Kanye West, and DJ Mark Ronson. Some lesser-knowns are Photographer Alexi Lubomirski, Hotelier André Balazs, Designer of Southern Gentleman Sid Mashburn, and artist Ed Ruscha. Personally, I like Glenn O’ Brienn as a good choice. Why? He’s the GQ Style Guide. Why wouldn’t he be selected.

I’ve also noted that the GQ editors grazed the magazine with a tribute to the Italian chic of 1960’s Purple Noon and 1999’s The Talented Mr. Ripley with a photoshoot of actor Tom Dancy looking timelessly cool. Fantastic pictures, but I won’t bore you with my commentary. Here’s a few samples from Mr. Dancy himself.

I really liked the pictures of Hugh Dancy. They were great. I loved what he was wearing in each picture.
